Macerata

Villa San Valentino is located in the rolling hills of Le Marche. From the terrace you have beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the hill-top towns of Loro Piceno, Mogliano and Petriolo.
Many beautiful villages in Le Marche are easily accessible from the villa. You can do your daily shopping at one of the supermarkets (Tigre, Coal) or specialty shops in Loro Piceno a few minutes away, but the large supermarkets (Oasi, Conad, Lidl) in Tolentino or Marerata are also easily accessible. These cities can be reached in 15-20 minutes and are well worth a visit. Within about an hour you can also visit well known cities such as Perugia, Assisi, Ascoli Piceno, Fermo or Ancona.
The wide and clean beaches of the Adriatic coast are quickly accessible.
Do you like active holidays? Be sure to visit the mountains (Monte Sibillini National Park), where you can go cycling, hiking, swimming, canoeing, rafting, horseback riding and paragliding.
Beaches
Le Marche has a 180 km long coastline with many wide sandy beaches and beautiful bays.
From Villa San Valentino the beach of Civitanova Mare is the closest. Within half an hour you can spread out your towel on the blue Adriatic coast or, even better!, order a refreshing drink from your sunbed at one of the dozens of beach bars. Our favorites? Cala Maretto and Shada Beach Club, where you can also enjoy an excellent lunch. The coastal towns also offer entertainment in the evening. In towns such as Civitanova and San Benedetto in high season the shops are open until midnight and residents and tourists stroll through the streets with an ice cream or drink and Apèrol on one of the many terraces.
You can also visit the beautiful bays at the Monte Conero Natural Park (Numana, Sirolo, Portonovo), or the beautiful beach at Porto San Giorgio.
